This year mark the 56th anniversary of the formation of “Malaysia”. We have traveled quite a distance down the path of the nationhood since then. We are proud of this multi-ethnic, multi-religious, and multi-cultural country. Thus on this “Malaysia Day”, we wish all fellow Malaysians at home and abroad a reflective and joyful celebration of nationhood. "Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!" These iconic words were shouted by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra al-Haj, the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, also our father of independence on August 31th, 1957. Moving foward to 2019, this year marked the 62th anniversary of our mother land gained independence.
